Happy 122nd High School Day!

The day that students look forward to the most is the 122nd Highschool Day, which honors the establishment of Ilocos Sur National Highschool. On this unique day, there were a ton of events and activities that we could participate in firsthand.

The next event started after a brief intermission. Throughout the Field Demo, a festival dance was showcased and performed by boys and girls in distinct grade levels. While this was happening, there were a lot of yells and shouts. Everyone couldn't help but applaud them as they all gave such amazing performances. The performances by the others were fantastic; there are no words to describe how magnificent they were. Dancing with other people was a pleasant experience.

The last event I participated to was called Concert for a Cause, where teachers and kids take the stage to sing and perform. The principal of the school gave a message before the singers' performance. I was there to witness this, and the audience was quite energetic, yelling, screaming, and joining in on the songs with the performers. It's evident to me that many of the youngsters could identify with the songs that were performed. Some wrote texts on their phones. The audience is chanting and screaming the words to the songs they can relate to the most, going crazy for such tunes. It was extremely fun.

Long story short, my 122nd High School Day was a great great success and one of the happiest moments of my life.
